Each month at Scrap Arts we do a swap. Each month there is a theme.
This month's theme is Masculine.
This is my contribution.
The swap rules are simple - make 6 masculine cards with no greeting using anything you want. This month's theme is Masculine.
This is my contribution.
When I was at work on Thursday I noticed that most of the cards that had come in were "adult" so I decided to do "juvenile".
I coloured the alien spaceship in with my COPICS although you can hardly see it. I also used Crystal Effects to make the bubble more 3D. In the close-up below you can see that I used the white shimmer paper from Stampin' Up!
What do you think of the bling? I know it's a boy's card but I thought it would be effective as lights. I hope the boys don't think it's too "girly".
I had thought of doing a "big boys" card but decided to do this one after seeing Cambria's card here. Thanks for the inspiration and reminding me that I had some of this paper left over!
Next month's theme is TECHNIQUE. Any theme we want as long as we do a "technique" on the card.
If you're in the North Vancouver area why don't you pop into ScrapArts and join our swap. Swap themes are announced at the beginning of each month, get your cards in by the end of the month, and swap out happens the first week of the following month.
How easy is that?
Thanks for popping in...
VERY cute card Marie! i was actually in Vancouver just a little more than a week ago. i'd never been before - we drove through on our way to Whistler [from Seattle]. wish i had thought to check stamp stores out... but, my husband had already stopped TWICE at the A*Muse store, so not sure i'd get him to stop again :)
