This is what I've been working on lately - Wedding Invitations for Holly Cameron's upcoming First Comes Love... swap.

I've signed up for 2 spots and so I have to make 2 different sets of cards.
The first one is done is Very Vanilla, Vellum & Certainly Celery with Floral stamped in Vanilla Craft Ink. It's a subtle tone-on-tone effect.
I printed out the info on vellum using the RGB codes for Always Artichoke ink. I then embossed it with clear to make it raised and more "finished". I then stamped the very vanilla layer and the cover of the card with the Floral stamp in Vanilla Craft Ink. Sorry the above photos are a bit washed out - have a look at the close up below.
I rounded the front flaps and used Ivory Wide Organdy ribbon to close the card.
The second one is Black and Silver. I used a "folder" format for the card so that I could enclose an RSVP in a pocket. The cover is rounded on one side and I embossed the Script background stamp with clear embossing powder. I used our names again as a monogram embellishment and used White Wide Organdy ribbon to tie close the card.
I'm happy to say that I didn't CASE them - yep they are Marie Originals.
I hope the swappers like my cards...
great idea for the r.s.v.p. card!!!! I'd love to get that swap!
