Saturday & Sunday Shop - Chalkboard Decor Elements

I'm always looking for cool and interesting things - aren't we all!

I thought the weekends would be the perfect time to share these with you so stay tuned for more posts on this.

For today's Saturday and Sunday Shop I want to share with you this cool new chalkboard I bought for my craft room.

I've put it up in my craft room/office/den right beside my clock so I can see it when I'm sitting at my computer.

It's a chalkboard Decor Element with a THINGS TO DO overlay in white that I just got from Stampin' Up!

There is also a calendar overlay but I really like this and can't wait to add some THINGS TO DO to it to help me manage my time better!

I also got this Finial Ruler Decor Element to apply to my desk top so I don't have to search for a ruler all the time
That makes 6 Decor Elements in 1 room.  Is that too much?

Decor Elements Applications

I'm really enjoying these Decor Elements (vinyl clings) from Stampin' Up!
The first 2 I received I put up on my wall over my stamp room window.

I used one of the Manhattan Flowers and then cut up the Create Definition to apply it in a straight line rather than the way it came.

I just got this one (Flower Finesse) as a Hostess Reward and I applied (cut it into 2 first) on my unmounted stamp binders.

Decor Elements - FINALLY!

Today I had an opportunity to put up my Stampin' Up! Decor Elements in my craft room.

I waited until the kids had gone to camp so I could devote at least an hour to this task. I used a flower from Manhattan Flowers and the Create definition (I cut it apart to put it up in a line rather than the way it originally came).

It was a bit tough to get the small letters and especially the dots & periods off the backing paper but after that it went up easily!

Here's another look at my punch storage. I found different towel/kitchen bars at Ikea that I liked better than the Walmart ones (these are black and they are longer) and so I put them up for my large punches and I found the smaller magnetic knife racks work perfectly for the smaller punches.

Of course I had to raise my embellishment centre 6 inches!!! Yes it was a terrible mess with large holes in the wall but when I finally got everything back in place the holes were all hidden!

The organization of my room and stamps is and will continue to be a "work in progress"!

Punch Storage and Where to put my CREATE?

I'm still organizing - it's taking me forever I know - but everyday I do a little bit and I figure by next year I'll be done! Seriously, I have so much stuff and pulling it all together while still playing with it is so hard.
It's like "Oh Wow! I didn't know I had a do-hicky-ma-jig let's see if I still know how to use it"....
On the bright side I did finally HANG both of my Making Memories Embellishment Centres (but now I'm thinking I didn't hang them high enough!).
I found some white metal towel bars at Walmart (I think they were $6 each and they are 24 inches wide). I hung these under the embellishment centres and hung my "most used" punches on them.
I also found some nifty looking card stands in a home decor store. I'm going get some more of these for when I start up my classes so that I can display the sample cards in the middle of the table - high enough for everyone to see. For right now they are displaying my latest glitter cards on top of one of my embellishment centres.
I have left space on my walls for the new Decor Elements CREATE definition but I can't decide where to put it.
Here - to the right of my 2 embellishment centres?
Or HERE to the right of my wall clock?

What do you think?
