Here's a close up!
Yes there's more cutting on this card LOL!I used Spooktacular Greetings and black embossing powder for the Happy Halloween greeting. I coloured in the grave stone with pumpkins image with Stampin' Up! markers & blender pens using Sahara Sand, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, More Mustard and Old Olive. I then used pop dots to add dimension to the card.
The background image is Spooky Skyline (ETA: NOT retired Stampin' Up! wheel - thanks Julia!). I used White craft ink on black card stock and then coloured in the pumpkins with orange & black pastels, the grass with green & black pastels and the bats with black pastels.
I used a black cardstock card base, Elegant Eggplant layer, and then a piece of Halloween Night (retired patterned paper from Stampin' Up! 2006 Holiday Mini). Under the black Spooky Skyline piece I used scrap strips of Only Orange and sponged some black ink on them to darken the brightness of the orange!
I think it turned out great! If I say so myself... What do you think?
I LOVE it! I really like the Halloween designer paper from last year. Great job...wish I was in your swap! Been sick, new work, Doug's health has been bad...no swaps for this girl for a little while yet. I'll be back swappin' once things settle down a bit for sure, though!!
