In the Garden Part 2 Class

Yesterday I attended a cardmaking class at Scrap Arts in North Vancouver taught by Elizabeth.

It was the second class of In the Garden series - making card with flowers.  HERE is the post that shows my cards from the first class.

In this second class we made all of the flowers (except for one) using the Stampin' Up! Butterfly Extra Large Punch 119848 and the Two-Step Bird Extra Large punch 117191.

Check these out!

These sweet peas were made by soaking and rolling up the Butterfly punch outs!

This pansie was made by soaking and inking 2 of the Butterfly punch outs!

These tulips were made with the wings from the Bird punch!
This last one is the card that did not use a punch for the flower.
The pieces of blanket satin ribbon (synthetic) were randomly cut and then  we "seared" them with a candle flame to get them to curl!
Elizabeth suggested that we use COPICS to colour in the back of the flower (the white part)
but I kind of like it like this

I hope you enjoyed seeing these Flower Cards and check in again soon!
