Swap Card Revealed

Well here it is! Here is the swap card that I am contributing to the Accessory Showcase swap. If you're in this swap don't look - you'll get yours soon enough.

I am hosting & participating in this swap which is due "in my hands" tomorrow - Friday, February 16. So far I've received 27 packages with 6 more to come (there was to be 34 but I had 1 last minute drop out).

My chosen accessory was Hodgepodge Hardware. Although you do get a lot of pieces in the SU! Hodgepodge Hardware kit I was lucky enough to have a bunch leftover from the PEACEFUL WISHES Holiday Make and Take kits. 60 frames to be exact!

The idea for this card came from one I saw on SCS. BUT I made mine as a OSW (one sheet wonder - means you stamp the entire sheet of paper and then cut up all the pieces for the card fronts). I added the pewter frames by threading them with black gingham ribbon and attaching to a strip of back paper. It's a very simple card but I think it's kind of elegant. The ink is BLACK although it looks very purple-y in the scan. That's the SU! black ink for you!

I used various "thanks" stamps from MUCH APPRECIATED, HEARTFELT THANKS, and WARMEST REGARDS. The greeting in the frame comes from SINCERE SALUTATIONS (I just inked the THANKS part).
I hope the swappers like it.
