Swaps, Swaps and More Swaps!

Well I'm at it again! I'm swapping - hosting a swap, in a swap and starting another swap. Not to mention thinking about what I'm going to do for swaps for the SU! Regionals in Vancouver on April 28th.

I showed you the cards that I made for the Favourite background swap in a previous post.

I'm the hostess on this swap and although Friday was the due day I've extended the deadline because of the Easter holiday weekend.

So far I'm doing pretty good with only 2 swaps missing. That's not too bad considering their are 45 spots and 26 swappers.

Tomorrow (after the mail carrier comes) I'll be busy shipping out this swap. Each participant will receive a variety of 7 cards back and I'm hoping to have all that done by Wednesday afternoon.

Over the next few days I'll share some of the cards on here.

As if this isn't enough I've just signed on to be a "swap angel" for Jacky's wedding invitation swap. I've already participated in a similiar swap (Baby, Engagement & Wedding Invitation swap) speaking of which I just got those swaps back this morning! What a great selection of cards! Lots of cool ideas - if you've never swapped you should really try it!

Since Jacky's swap is due April 23 I'm going to use the pocket invitation in silver like the one I did for the LSS but since it's a SU! swap I'll use SU! products only. It will be quick and I can get it done and sent out in time. I hope I get lots of good ideas back!

I've got 2 wedding invitation & favour classes at the LSS called "I DO!". I'm going to show the ladies how to make 3 different wedding invitation (shared in previous posts) and 2 different favours. There has been a few requests for this kind of class at the store so I'm hoping that the customres like it.

Now getting back to the swapping - I'm thinking of hosting another swap on my Yahoo! group called "Oldie but Goodie!" and I'd like to swap mountable card fronts made using retired stamp sets. I think that it will be fun for some of us demos to dust off the old stamps and use them again!

Enough talk about swapping I'd better get stamping - I've got those Wedding Invitations and also the Farewell invitations for the grade 7s at my son's school. I'm thinking an explosion card with confetti inside....

I'll post the pics when I'm done!
