Here is my first card for the "Just One Colour" swap that Jenny Jones is hosting. I've got 2 spots in this swap so keep watch for the second card later today or tomorrow. LOL! These have to be postal by May 30 so I better get that second one done today!
I used Blush Blossom and Very Vanilla (you are allowed to use a neutral as well as your chosen "one" colour).
The card base is Blush Blossom, the next layer is Very Vanilla stamped with Floral background and embossed with Very Vanilla embossing powder. There is a layer of Blush Blossom also embossed with Very Vanilla and Floral. I added 2 layers of oval punches and Ivory Organdy ribbon. This is a top folding card so that I can tie the ribbon all around the middle.
The greeting "For You" is from Fancy Flexible Phrases which I realized (after I stamped them all) is a mini stamp set so for the final card fronts I used "love" from Everyday Flexible Phrases. This is a Stampin' Up! Demo swap so all stamps and materials must be from the current Stampin' Up! line.
It kind of reminds me of old lace and is much prettier in person. I hope the swappers like it!
