It's snowing in June!
No really it's not - it's just the theme of Diane's Sunday Sketch Challenge.
Sunday's sketch challenge on Diane's blog is to use the Stampin' Up! stamp set SNOWFLAKES with shades of Purple and Pink!
I pulled my stamp set out today and came up with this card.
I used Blush Blossom and Almost Amethyst paper and ink as well as White.
The snowflakes on the white card base were stamped using the "kissing" technique and I added a snowflake embellishment complete with glitter and "bling".
I'm not sure I like this card as it reminds me of some flannel pyjamas I used to have!
Your card is beautiful! I love the way you cut out the snowflake and adhered it with an eyelet...I might have to try that!!! TFS!
ReplyDeleteLove the card, especially the soft colors and the trimmed out snowflake. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI LOL when I read your comment about the pajamas, becasue I have flannel sheets that are covered with snowflakes, but they're green and blue, not pink and purple, so I 'm safe for this challenge.
