Glitter Card Class Samples Part 2 FINALE!

As promised here are the last 2 cards for my upcoming Glitter Card Class.

The first one is soooo EASY!

I stamped Lovely As a Tree in Always Artichoke ink, added some glitter, layered it on Bazzills Bling Glass Slipper, added some white Organdy ribbon and popped out a greeting (from So Many Sayings) using the oval punch!

This next photo is a close up so you can see all the glittery elements of this card - the shimmery Glass Slipper matting, the white organdy ribbon and the glitter on the trees.

The second one was a bit tougher for me. For one thing I used the store's sewing machine and I had a heck of a time with it! I wanted Zig Zag and the stupid thing would only straight stitch! I finally gave up and straight stitched around the layer instead of Zig Zagging like I wanted to!

The white layer is done with the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and I used the Mega Scalloped Circle for the blue mat. I used my white Signo Gel Pen to draw little "snowflakes" on the scallops.

The greeting is from So Many Sayings (I'm sooo loving this stamp set cut apart!). The snowman image is an oldie but goodie - from Tags & More by Stampin' Up! Yes I purposely punched and matted him out off side! A little more glitter on the snowman and some colouring and I'm done!

These cards along with the other 2 I posted here will make up my class samples for next week's Glitter Holiday Card Class. I tried to have a variety to suit all needs - I hope I did that with this sampling of cards.

  2. Hey Marie,
I was looking at this card again and I was wondering what you've used to add your glitter? Stickles, or heat & Stick and then glitter?
    It's so beautiful and shimmery!
