Projects from my FIRST CROP

Here's what I made at the Crop today.

This Christmas card idea was shamelessly cased from this one I saw by Taylor VanBruggen.

I really like her colour combo, the bright gold embossing and gold brads & eyelets.

Yes I said brads AND eyelets.

Isn't this so cool? Mixing up brads and eyelets on the same card. I've never seen it done this way before and I just thought it was the coolest thing!

I just got this Moose stamp from Old Island Stamp Company and knew exactly what I was going to do with it. I saw this layout on Stampin' Up! Stampers Showcase.

I'll probably add a greeting in the lower right hand corner - maybe something stamped on a popped up oval - but I didn't have the right stamp with me so I left if blank for now.

I made 2 of each of the cards and started on a scrap page of when my sisters and nieces came out last year and we all went to the Kids' Market at Granville Island. It's not quite done so I'll share that one another time.

And I started on an explosion box album but again it's not quite done so I'll share that one another time too.

Considering it was my first Crop and I chatted a LOT I don't think I did too badly for 5 hours.
