Card Sketch Challenge #7

Have you come to my blog today to check out the new card sketch challenge and prize?

Well if so, I won't keep you waiting!

Here is the sketch:

It's pretty easy but I'm adding an additional challenge of using a piece of chipboard on it. It can be any size or shape you like of chipboard (I added the rectangle text box to remind you to use chipboard on your card but it does NOT have to be a rectangle!).

ETA: If you'd like to enter any chipboard card or project you may still enter the drawing. Those that enter with the card sketch will receive an extra entry for the prize drawing.

As usual, you have 2 weeks to complete this challenge - just post a link to your card in the comments for THIS POST before NOON on Friday, November 2nd. At that time I will randomly select a winner for a prize.

What prize?

Well, I've been talking a LOT about the Flip Albums lately (living and breathing Flip Albums for the last week or so!) and I have an extra kit to give away!

Yes that's right - a Flip Album kit!!!

The kit includes all the paper pieces cut up and ready to assemble as well as instructions on how to put it together (now that's helpful!). I'll even through in a few embellishments and co-ordinating ribbon to close your album!

The paper is Basic Grey patterned paper and Bazzills solid cardstock (yes only the good stuff for my blog readers!) and the kit will be one of the combinations that I showed you here on this POST.

As an added BONUS - if you make your project is Christmas or Winter themed then you will receive an extra entry in the prize drawing!

I'll work on my card tomorrow and will post it along with a photo of the actual Flip Album prize by Friday night.

RECAP: If you follow the sketch and use chipboard you get 2 draw prize entries and if you make the card Holiday or Winter themed then you get 3 entries. No chipboard? No problem! Just use the card sketch and I'll enter your name in the drawing. Just got a neat chipboard card or project - send it in too. You'll get entered into the drawing too!

Now go get stamping, punching or whatever you want to do to your card & chipboard and post it here by the deadline!

I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

  3. Hi, Marie

What a fun challenge! And how timely - I had *just* bought some Christmas chipboard on sale at my LSBS. Here's a link to the finished card:

  4. Mine is a kitty cat card. I really enjoyed working with this sketch, and it was my first time to use chipboard, too, so I appreciate the motivation...
