Today I'm off to the scrapbooking store to teach a glitter Christmas card class (morning) and then do a bleaching Make & Take (afternoon) and then back again tonight to repeat the glitter class.
I was packing up my class stuff last night and can you believe that I'm still covered in glitter! LOL! I swear - glitter is like the bane of the craft world. Just so hard to get rid of!
I've got two more Make & Takes to share with you!
The first one is from last Thursday -the technique was SPONGING. Not sure if you can see in the photo but we used a ripped piece of scrap as a mask and sponged on some "waves" in brown ink on the creamy caramel piece for this "beachy" tag.
The second one is from today's Make & Take - the technique as I said is BLEACHING. We'll stamp French Script with an "ink pad" filled with bleach (really just some folded paper towels in a plastic container).
The flower is just folded and bent red scraps that were cut in a "blob" shape, layered and attached with a big black brad to the tag.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi - wonderful blog - I love coming for a browse. I have tagged you - please check out my blog for details.
ReplyDeleteThe waves can be seen online. The French Script tag is wonderful! I looks like a lot more effort has been put into it than you describe. Simple-ish, but very elegant!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Marie :)
