January & February 2008 Make-and-Takes

Every Thursday afternoon I do a Free Make-and-Take at the Scrap Arts store.

These are photos of the samples I made for January and February and a sneak peek of this week's Make-and-Take!

Faux Eyelets
(stamp set is by Cavallini Papers & Co.)
Heat Embossing with Gold Powder
Making scalloped gift cards using the Mega Scalloped Square Punch
(heart image is stamped with ink and then glitter added with a fine glue pen)
Burnished Velvet Technique Bookmark

The Good Old "Purse-a-lope"
(I like to use a self adhesive velcro dot to close)

Chipboard Fridge Magnets using Faux Laminating Technique
(Packing Tape!)

Chipboard back with magnet strip cut from roll
Using the Crop-a-Dile to set a 3/16 eyelet
Heat Embossing Chipboard pieces
(this piece of chipboard was cut out with a Cuttlebug Die)
Close up of the Irredescent Ice Embossing
ETA: Someone asked about this sand dollar.
It is a Cuttlebug 2 die set called "From the Sea"
This "Basket-a-Lope" is a sneak peek at this week's Make-and-Take.
(Seal the envelope and then use a punch to punch out the 2 top corners. Fold the bottom and sides like for the bag-a-lope.)

If you're a customer and plan to come in tomorrow this is what we'll be making.

Please Note: I'm off for the next 2 weeks because of Spring Break but I'll be back with another exciting Make-and-Take on March 27th.
