Masculine Manly Male Swap FULL SWAP PHOTOS!

I just finished hosting a Masculine Manly Male Swap.

By now most of the participants have received their selection from this swap and so I'm posting the photos for everyone to see what came in to me.

Some of them may look "odd" or "unfinished" and I'll explain why. As Stampin' Up! Demonstrators we like to swap card fronts for display purposes and to save on supplies.

Not all of us have need for display samples so I like to host "mountable" card front swaps.

These swaps are a bit smaller (4 x 5 1/4) than regular card fronts (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). They can still be used for display but they can also be mounted on a coordinating colour base and be used AS A CARD and sent out!!

What a clever use of the file tab punch!
I love the sponging effect on this one!
Nice use of the "build-a-brad"!

What a great stamp!!!This one caught a fish!

I love the glitter on this one!
What a perfect fall colour combination!

Check out the light beam accented with Crystal Effects!
I really like this layout!
I like this layout too!

Got to get out my crimper and try this one!
I've never thought to add brads to my ribbon - great idea!
Lots of detail on this one -
sponging, colouring, background stamping, and the hemp through the button!!
Check out those layers and someone who actually uses her twill tape!!
I like that I can add whichever greeting I need on this one!
I have Lovely As a Tree but I've never thought to emboss it with white on black!!
Add ImageMiRan you are just too funny with your cards!!! I love the fold out front on this one and the colouring is awesome!!
I like the background brayering!
How cute is this one?
A lot of cutting and paper piercing to get all these done but well worth the effort -
great colour combo too!
I think I'll use this one as a Masculine Sympathy card...
So simple yet effective and room for a greeting too!
This one is meant to be matted on Always Artichoke.
I really like the soft colour combo and the way she used the punch as a mat for the large eyelet.
Another subtle effect is the clear embossed "highlight" of Cheers to You.

I love this faux metal technique!!!
And this Faux Beer technique!!
Simple but perfect for a guy!
I really like the way she background stamped on several of the layers.
Wonderful is stamped on vellum!
Ann die cut and stamped on photos - what a great idea!!
Another Lovely As a Tree card -
this stamp is great for Masculine cards and
the hodgepodge framed greeting HB is the perfect touch!

Thanks to all the ladies that joined this swap and sent their cards in on time!!

It was great swapping with you.

  3. It is fantastics to see all the cards. What a lot of ideas - I am going to have to create a folder on my laptop and save the photos so I have reminders of all the wonderful possibilities for masculine stamps. Thanks again for hosting the swap.
