Tabbed Letters Technique

I don't know what you call this "curved greeting" techniqe - I first saw it HERE on Debbie Olson's blog (she calls it "tabbed letters").

Whatever it's called I just knew that one day I would have to try it for myself.

So I did!

I simply typed out my greeting "Happy Birthday Angel!" using my computer with MS Word and printed it on white cardstock (it helps to adjust the font for more spacing between the letters).

Then I clipped down to the base as Debbie instructed and Voila!

The letters are attached to the back of the image (behind the scalloped mat layer) and the entire piece is popped up for dimension.

I'm sorry I can't show you the full card - right now - it's one of the new designs I'm working on for Layin' Rubber Design Clique's January release.

To see the full card you'll just have to check back in about a week!
