So if you're in this swap and you want to be surprised don't look any further!
The first card uses the new Happy Grad stamp.
You can't really tell in the photo but I embossed the greeting!Supplies Used:
Stamps: Happy Grad;
Inks: Black Craft/Pigment Ink;
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red, Brushed Metallic Gold
Extras: Black Striped grosgrain ribbon, Large Star and Star punch, clear embossing powder
This second card uses one of the fairy images and greeting from A Little Bit of Magic.
I actually had to redo this card making a slight change. After I finished it I realized that I used Pink Pirouette scraps for some of the dots! This is an old in-colour that will be returning but not until the new catalogue comes out in July (Colour Renovation).
For this swap I have to use current supplies!
So I switched out the PinkPirouette dots for Regal Rose dots.
Regal Rose is a colour that is retiring but for now it's still current!
I think it looks better with the deeper rose colour don't you?
For the "flower" mat around the fairy image I used the Stampin' Up! scallop edge punch, cut slits in the border, and then bent and turned it into a round mat layer!
Here's a close up of the fairy.
Stamps: A Little Bit of Magic (Summer Mini);
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Old Olive, So Saffron, Blush Blossom, Bashful Blue;
Cardstock: Kraft, White, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose
Extras: Various circle punches, Scallop edge punch, Old Olive wide grosgrain ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds glitter
OMG! I hope I get one of these!!! They're gorgeous!!!
