On Pinterest I saw an embosisng folder sampler made by Tracy Pounds and I knew I had to make one for my out-of-control embossing folder "collection".
I didn't have the patience to cut up my scrap paper (or punch or die cut) so I used these cheap shipping labels ($4 for 100) from the office supply store.
They are 4 3/4" x 2 3/8" and a good size to get most of the embossed pattern. (Note - Mine are from an old batch so they are a different colour.)
I used Avery 8167 shipping labels (1 3 /4" x 1/2 ") on the back to identify the samples.
I put them on the biggest binder ring I could find - I've got almost 80 of them and the embossing makes the paper "thick".
Next up - I'm hoping to make another sampler ring of my smaller Cuttlebug embossing folders.
Until next time...
Great idea Marie. I was fairly organized but I keep aquiring more stuff than I have room for so its hard when there is no place to put things. Time to purge a bit I think.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea and I think I might have some of those tags lying around from an old project.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I have some of those tags gathering dust on a shelf in the craft room.
