I usually pre cut a lot of my class "parts" but sometimes with certain techniques I need the class participant to cut things out during the course of the class.
For some this is a struggle - whether it be eyesight, left hand vs right hand, or just not great at cutting.
Now if you've ever been in a class of mine over the years you might have heard me say - move the paper not the scissors - when cutting out paper pieces.
It does take a bit a practice and sometimes it's helpful to see a visual on how to do this.
Dawn McVey has put together a YouTube video that explains and demonstrates how to cut things out moving the paper rather than the scissors.
It's really simple but if you're having trouble with this HERE is a great visual for you.
Hi Marie....Just checking in to see how you are doing. Hope all is well with you!
