Do you do this?

I wasn't happy with my card after posting my Beate's Sketch Challenge #4.

I know it looked nice but I felt it needed more "weight" on the left hand side and the sponged primas weren't doing it for me.

There was an inbalance of "colour power" on that card - the pink was too heavy on the right side - that didn't sit right with me.
How do I fix that? I thought maybe I should change the scalloped mat to Blush Blossom for a softer look or change out the flowers.

I opted to change the flowers.

I picked them off and replaced them will all white prima flowers (all the same kind) and added some pink micro beads to the centres.

AND here's the AFTER photo of the card.

Now it looks done to me!

  1. Yep, you're right, the re-done card does look more balanced. I do the exact same thing with my cards! It's no wonder I never get a lot done!
