I get so much inspiration from following the challenges that other bloggers post that I wanted to share one with all of you.
Today I am posting my first ever Card Sketch Challenge!
This is one of my favourite sketches. I used it in my Best of Cluck swap card posted here.
It's a simple one that can be used in both orientations (portrait or landscape) with a salutation in the lower right. Not too difficult right?
ETA: Bad timing on my part with my first sketch challenge - I don't want to compete with the festivities and challenges at SCS so I'm extending the due date! You NOW have until next Thursday, August 2nd to play along and post your links in the comments for this post. The prize for one of the entries drawn at random will be a Basic Grey 6x6 INUSE paper pad with the matching Basic Grey fibres.
The only criteria that I'm adding is that you must use your FAVOURITE stamp (from any manufacturer) as the main image for this sketch challenge. When you post please tell me why you chose this stamp as your favourite.
You may use whichever colour combo you like and any background stamps and greeting stamps you like in addition to your favourite stamp.
If you need colour suggestions try this colour combo selector.
I'll post my card later today.
Have fun with it!
Thought this one would be easy but it was not! Great first challenge - I look forward to many more.

Hi there. I hope I didn't take too much liberty with the sketch. My favorite stamp just did not want to cooperate. Plus I reversed it and put the greeting on the other side. I hope that is OK. My favorite stamp is the butterfly in the “Reason to Smile” hostess set from Stampin’ Up. Here is my card:

Great challenge! I used my SU Watercolor Garden set and an American Crafts rub-on for the sentiment. Thanks for the sketch.
