ETA: You're not dreaming I'm reposting this one from yesterday with another photo. I just had to add ribbon to the card - it looked so plain before! The original card is at the bottom of this post - without ribbon. I'm not sure which I like better?
I finally had a chance to use some of my Basic Grey Infuse paper and my new Tim Holtz stamp.
I stamped the image with Chocolate Chip ink on watercolour paper. I then sponged and distressed the edges.
I used my Karen Foster snap stamps for the "thanks" greeting (another one of my favourites!!!) stamped in Chocolate Chip. I added some antique brass brads in the corners.
I used 2 pieces of paper from my 6x6 Basic Grey Infuse paper pad - the solid-y looking dark brown paper and this great red floral paper.
TIP: I also stamped the vellum envelope with Timber Brown stazon to
match. The envelope is from Stampin' Up! and is ideal for 6x6 cards.
What a gorgeous card! The infuse paper is so beautiful. I can't wait to dive in. I must finish my swaps first though! I like how you stamped the envelope too!
ReplyDeleteBTW - I'm tagging you. You need to list 7 random facts about yourself and then tag 7 others to do the same. I look forward to your answers.
Take care
Tara
Beautiful card. Love how beautiful and simplistic it is.
