Kristina Werner Colour Inspiration #31

Ohhhh I didn't think I was going to make this one but Kristina extended the deadline due to technical difficulties with the "Mr Linky" box.

This week's challenge is inspired by a photo that Kristina took of a wreath.

So I based my card on this wreath stamp that I've had for years!!

These are some close ups of the colouring and also the glaze I added to the oranges and berries.

The Eggplant Envy layer is stamped with a woodgrain background stamp. Can you see it better in this photo?
I also sponged some Close to Cocoa around the white piece and popped it up with dimensionals.

The white layer is all one piece and you might be wondering how I did this with my Big Shot Top Note die.
Here's my secret....
When I get a new die I cut it out in both chipboard and in clear plastic (recycled packaging is what I use). Then I can use these for masking, sponging AND as stencils.
That's what I did - I lay down the plastic die cut on top of my stamped image, traced around it and then hand cut it out. I added the stitching (normally cut with the die) by hand with my Close to Cocoa marker.

I coloured in my wreath with these COPIC markers and used the Sakura Gelly Clear Glaze pen to add the shine!
